Super VS Battle 2012. 8th-9th December ‘12

The annual tournament Super VS Battle is back for its 6th instalment.


Super VS Battle 2012 will be on the 8th-9th December 2012 at the Kensington Great Hall, which is part of the Kensington Town Hall in central London.


SVB normally takes place in the Summer (August) every year. But due to the London 2012 Olympics, we decided to push it to December. So come and join us, in this one off SVB Winter Edition. Next Year and every other year, SVB will be back to its usual August Summer Slot.


THE GAMES:
This year, we’ll be having 7 games spread across 2 days, and for the first time ever, one of the games will be a NON fighting game. So we welcome FIFA 13 to the roster.
1: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (PS3)
2: FIFA 13 (???)
3: Marvel VS Capcom 3 (XBOX 360)
4: Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Arcade)
5: Dead or Alive 5 (???)
6: Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Ver ‘12 (XBOX 360)
7: King of Fighters XIII (???)


With the exception of FIFA 13, all fighting games will use the Double Elimination tournament format. Rules, game format and other information will become available in the coming weeks.


SIGNING UP:
The Super VS Battle website is not live right now, but will be on the 6th October 2012.
Online registration will be the cheapest way to pay for your entry and tournament games. You can visit the Official Super Vs Battle site at supervsbattle.com.
Pricing information will be available after the site opens.


PRIZES:
As always, there will be cash prizes and Trophies to be won. This information will be on the SVB website.


LIVESTREAM:
We understand how important livestreams are these days, so we’ll be
having one to cover the entire event over the 2 day period. More
information on this will be available soon.


VENUE:
This year, we’ll be using the lovely Kensington Great Hall, which is part of the Kensington Town Hall in Central London. The pictures of the venue should really speak for itself.

I don't know yet if I'll go myself. Due to the lineup of games, I think a lot of my UK friends won't be showing up (Due to many of them being in the Blazblue / Guilty Gear and 3rd strike scenes), which is why currently I'm unsure myself if I will go.

Maybe if some legit side tournaments are organised or lots of Belgians will go, I can reconsider

And yes, it's not a typo, Fifa '12 is now part of the biggest fighting game tournament in the UK
